Cadmium Stabilisers With the implementation of the PVC industry’s Voluntary Commitment the use of cadmium in all stabiliser systems placed on the European market has been phased out within one year from March 2001, taking into account technical feasibility in line with Council Resolution of 25 January 1988 (88/C30/01).
